*excludes stolen tags A1 Beat: • An armed robbery occurred at Bou Avenue & Chapman Avenue in Rockville on Monday, 7/6 at 2:05 p.m. The suspects followed the adult male victim, displayed a pocket knife and demanded money. The suspects did not obtain anything and fled to the Metro where they were stopped by Metro Transit PD. Three suspects were identified and arrested. A2 Beat: • An armed robbery occurred at Rockcrest Park located at 1331 Broadwood Drive in Rockville on Monday, 6/29 at 9:30 p.m. The adult male victim and a friend were playing basketball when the suspects approached. The first suspect displayed two knives and demanded money. The suspects searched the victim’s bag and took cash. • An aggravated assault occurred in the 500 block of Calvin Lane in Rockville on Friday, 7/3 at 10:30 p.m. for the report of one shot. They found a large crowd and two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. • An aggravated assault occurred outside of the Safeway located at 1907 Veirs Mill Road in Rockville on Monday, 7/6 at 6:10 p.m. The victim was outside the store when the suspect vehicle drove up. The suspects exited their vehicle and punched another victim. When this victim attempted to intervene, the suspect displayed a knife and waved it in a threatening manner. He was arrested at the scene. • A burglary occurred at the Crusader Lutheran Church located at 1605 Veirs Mill Road in Rockville between Friday, 7/3 at 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 7/4at 8:30 a.m. Suspects forced entry and vandalized the interior. • A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 1000 block of Gilbert Drive in Rockville between Sunday, 7/5 and Tuesday, 7/7 during an unknown time period. Suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet. • A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 400 block of Carl Street in Rockville between Monday, 7/6 and Tuesday, 7/7 during an unknown time period. Suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a GPS unit. • A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 400 block of Carl Street in Rockville on Tuesday, 7/7 at 2:50 a.m. Suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a GPS unit. • An indecent exposure occurred in the area of 2300 Veirs Mill Road in Rockville on Wednesday, 7/1 at 8:00 p.m. The suspect drove up and exposed himself to two women. The victims obtained the tag number, which led to an arrest nearby. A3 Beat: • An aggravated assault occurred in the 500 block of Pinewood Road in Rockville on Monday, 6/29 at 1:30 p.m. Victim and suspect are known to one another. A4 Beat: • A residential burglary occurred in the 7700 block of Goodfellow Way in Rockville on Saturday, 7/4 between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Suspects forced entry and removed property. • A commercial burglary occurred at 7258 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood on Monday, 7/6 between 1:25 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. This building has been unoccupied for some time. A witness saw the suspects leave the building through the broken window. Suspect: B/M, 5’10”, 150-175 lbs. Suspect: H/M, 5’8”, 135 lbs., red shirt, torn khaki pants Suspect: H/M, 5’6”, heavy build, mustache, dark shirt, jeans, carrying a knife B1 Beat: • A commercial burglary occurred at a restaurant located at 12276 Rockville Pike occured on Wednesday, 7/1 at 4:00 p.m. Forced entry; the suspect was found asleep on the floor and arrested. • A theft of a wallet occurred at the Starbucks located at 865 Rockville Pike in Rockville on Thursday, 7/2 between 12:30 p.m. and 12:35 p.m. The victim was sitting in the restaurant with her purse behind her and felt something near her back. She saw the suspect standing there but did not think anything of it at the time. She later realized her wallet was gone. Suspect: B/F, 30-35 yrs. old, 5’11”, 150 lbs., light grey sweatshirt B2 Beat: • A theft of a purse occurred at the Giant Food located at 7955 Tuckerman Lane in Potomac on Friday, 7/3 between 6:00 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. While shopping, the female suspect distracted the victim and the male suspect took the wallet from the purse. Suspect: B/M, 21-25 yrs. old, 5’9”-6’, 160-180 lbs., white cotton shirt, blue jeans Suspect: B/F, 21-25 yrs. old, 5’3”-5’6”, 145-155 lbs., corn-rowed hair, tan low-cut sweater, light blue jeans, thick silver necklace • A theft from a vehicle occurred in the unit block of Guy Court in Potomac on Thursday, 7/2 between 5:50 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. The victim was unloading her vehicle when the suspect appeared and offered to help. The victim refused and entered her home. When she returned, her property was missing from the car. • A theft from a construction site occurred at the University of Maryland at Shady Grove located at 9636 Gudelsky Drive in Rockville between Thursday, 7/2 and Monday, 7/6 during an unknown time frame. Forced entry, property taken. B3 Beat: • A residential garage burglary occurred in the 11100 block of Deborah Drive in Potomac on Monday, 6/29 between 8:45 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. Suspects entered an open garage and removed property. • A commercial burglary occurred at the Inverness Swim Club located at 10820 Deborah Drive in Potomac between Thursday, 7/2 at 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 7/3 at 6:30 a.m. Unknown type entry, property was removed. Suspects vandalized the pool. • A burglary occurred at the construction site in the 8100 block of River Road in Potomac on Sunday, 7/5 between 1:26 a.m. and 2:19 a.m. Suspects forced entry and removed property. • A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 9400 block of Newbridge Drive in Potomac on Tuesday, 6/30 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet. • A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 9300 block of Belle Terre Way in Potomac on Tuesday, 6/30 at 1:00 p.m. Suspect observed entering an unsecured vehicle and removing property. When confronted, suspect fled. Suspect: B/M, 40’s, 6’2”, yellow polo shirt, multi-colored shorts Vehicle: black Infiniti G35 • A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 8600 block of Bells Mill Road in Potomac on Saturday, 7/4 between 9:20 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Suspects broke the window and removed a purse. • A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 10600 block of Falls Road in Potomac on Saturday, 7/4 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a purse. B4 Beat: • A residential burglary was reported in the 13500 block of Mills Farm Road in North Potomac on Tuesday, 7/7 at 11:55 a.m. No further information is available. |
