Leggett to Present FY 2009 Operating Budget

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will present his recommended Operating Budget for FY 2009 and highlight his budget priorities as he seeks to reduce the $400 million budget shortfall for the coming year and set the County on a sustainable course for the future.

The news conference will be broadcast live on County Cable Montgomery, Channel 6 for RCN and Comcast subscribers and Channel 30 for Verizon subscribers. The press conference can also be viewed on the County’s website by going to www.montgomerycountymd.gov.

Parking: Public parking is available on the lower level of the Council Office Building garage at the corner of Monroe and Jefferson streets.
