Default How to Report Bullying in the Schools

How to Report Bullying in the Schools

Fill out the MCPS Harrassment/Bullying Report form below in detail. Show a pattern of bullying going back for months. Include any other attempts at communication and results (such as an administrator hanging up the telephone when you call.)

Determine how many copies of the Bullying Report you will need.Send to at least these 3 people:
  • Send the original to the principal.
  • Send a copy to Roland Ikheloa (see contact info at left).
  • Send a copy to the Superintendent's office (see contact info at left).
  • Keep a copy for yourself
On the bottom of the original Bullying Report write "Copies to:" and the names you are sending copies to in Carver.

Make copies of the Bullying Report.

Go to the post office and get a dark green certified mail form (they are left out at most post offices).

On the top of the original Bullying form write "via Certified Mail" and the number from the certified mail form. You may choose to send the copies via Certified Mail as well.

Mail using the certified mail form with return receipt.

This creates multiple paper trails that will last forever. Once multiple MCPS administrators have it on paper, there are good options if it does not get resolved. This is good procedure for all school complaints. The more paper, the better.

The MCPS Bullying Report below is live and can be filled out right here.
