Rockville Police Search for Missing Autistic Teen


ROCKVILLE, Md., Sept. 3, 2010 -The Rockville City Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a Germantown teen who is autistic.

Milvet O. Pratt, age 19, of the 21000 block of Virginia Pine Terrace, was last seen on Sept. 2 around 9 a.m. at Rock Terrace School, located at 390 Martins Lane in Rockville. He is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white and black striped shirt, dark blue jean shorts and white tennis shoes.

The principal of Rock Terrace School reported him missing. He is known to frequent the Wintergreen Shopping Center in Rockville and to walk along Route 355 in Germantown.

Anna Marie Beth, age 14, of the 12000 block of Birdseye Terrace in Germantown, was last seen at her residence today at 7:00 a.m. She is described as a white female, 5’5” tall, and weighing approximately 180 pounds. She has brown eyes and has long reddish brown hair. It is unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

While there is no evidence of foul play, family and police are concerned due to her age.

Critically Missing Briggs Chaney Man

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 3rd District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a man who was last seen today at 7:30 p.m., at his residence, a group home located in the 3700 block of Castle Boulevard in the Briggs Chaney area of Silver Spring (map location 1). He was later sighted at the Chipotle restaurant located at 12060 Cherry Hill Road in Calverton (map location 2) at approximately 8:30 p.m. this evening.

Christopher Lee Gortsema, age 23, is described as a white male, 5’4” tall, and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue and white polo shirt and blue jean shorts. He was also wearing dark sunglasses.

Christopher Lee Gortsema suffers from an impulse control disorder and functions at a level much younger than his actual age. He is also familiar with public transportation and it is believed he used a bus to get to Calverton this evening.

Miguel “Mike” Angel Zapparolli, age 14, of the 19500 block of Transhire Road in Montgomery Village, was last seen at his residence yesterday at 11:00 a.m. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’3” tall, weighing 110 pounds, with short brown hair, brown eyes, and a mustache and light beard. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Irving Martin Shnider, 75 years old, of the 15300 block of Beaverbrook Court in the Leisure World area of Silver Spring, is last believed to have been at his home on Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Shnider is described as 5’ 8” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has gray hair, a beard and wears glasses. It is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division are seeking the public’s help to locate a critically missing female teen from Silver Spring.

Raquel Ester Fuentes was last seen leaving her residence in the 9600 block of McAlpine Drive in Silver Spring, on Sunday, July 18, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Police and her family are concerned for her welfare because of her age; and because she suffers from a medical condition and may not have her medication with her.

She is described as an Hispanic female, 17 years old, 5’3” tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes, and curly, shoulder-length reddish/auburn hair. She was last seen wearing a purple pleated tank top, multi-colored floral-patterned skirt, and sandals. She has a pierced lower lip. In the past she has frequented the Rockville area.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division are seeking the public’s help in locating a critically missing teenager from Silver Spring.

Dejhane Harrison, age 16, was last seen at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 18 at her residence on New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring. Dejhane is known to hang out in the White Oak area to include the White Oak Towers and the downtown Silver Spring central business district.

She is described as a black female, 5’02” tall, and weighs approximately 115 pounds. She has brown eyes and medium length black hair. She was last seen wearing a gray one-piece “romper.” This is an outfit that has the shorts and shirt as one combined piece of clothing.

Rashad Harper, age 16, was last seen at approximately 12:30 p.m. today at the intersection of University Boulevard and Grandview Avenue in Wheaton. He attends school in that area but resides in Prince George’s County. He is familiar with the Metro Transit System and may be traveling on Metro Trains. He is mentally challenged and functions at a low level for his age.

He is described as a black male, 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt and khaki shorts.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division are asking for help from the public to locate a 13-year-old girl missing from Germantown since June 18.

Jasmine Mitchell was last seen at her residence in the 12900 block of Climbing Ivy Drive. It is believed that she may be with a relative, Toria Laquanta Burton. Detectives and her family would like to locate the adult and child to confirm the welfare of the child.

Jasmine is described as a black female, 5’5” tall, weighing 135 pounds, with brown eyes, and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink short-sleeved shirt, black gym shorts, and was carrying a purple backpack. Toria Burton is described as a 28-year-old black female, 5’7” tall, weighing 113 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

They may have traveled to the District Heights area of Prince George’s County or have previously frequented the area of Autumn Hill Way in Gaithersburg.

When staff went to resume work at 12:55 p.m. they were unable to locate Rosa. Rosa is a light skinned Hispanic female who is 5'-3"ť, 130 pounds, brown eyes, and below the shoulder black hair-usually worn in a pony tail. She was wearing a pink shirt and pink shorts. Rosa has lived in Olney since April.
