Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Silver Spring Juvenile

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police-Family Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Silver Springjuvenile.

Juwan Keeshawn Smith, age 16, of the 400 block of Greer Avenue in Silver Spring, was last seen on April 30. Juwan is described as an African American male, 5’09” tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a red hat and a red, white, and blue polo shirt. He was also wearing blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Smith frequents downtown Silver Spring and the Briggs Chaney area.

Police and family are concerned for Smith’s welfare because he has not been in contact with his family. No foul play is suspected at this time.

Daniel Juwan Howard, age 17, of the 1300 block of Wembrough Court in Silver Spring, was last seen yesterday. Daniel is described as an African-American male with a dark complexion, approximately 6’03” tall, and 150 pounds. Daniel has brown eyes and short, black hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt, and black boots. Daniel likes to frequent the Castle Boulevard area of Silver Spring.

Rockville, MD, May 9 -- Investigators from the Rockville City Police Department are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Rockville man.

Eddie Lee Jeffries, 23, of Bowie Road in Rockville, was last seen leaving his residence on Tuesday, May 7.

Jeffries is described as a black male, approximately 5'7" and weighing 160 pounds. A description of the clothing he was wearing on Tuesday is unavailable. He has black hair, brown eyes and has piercings in his ears, lip and tongue. Jeffries is believed to have left the Rockville area on the Metrorail towards Washington, D.C., and was on his way to a dance studio in Capital Heights, MD.

Police and family are concerned for Jeffries' physical well-being. He did not report to work when he was expected, has not contacted anyone and his cell phone was found near the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro station in Washington, D.C.

Silver Alert For 78-Year-Old Montgomery County Man

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking the public’s help in locating a Montgomery County man.

George Harmon Calvert, 78 years old, was last seen yesterday at approximately 3:00 p.m., as he was dropping off his wife in northwest Washington, D.C.

Mr. Calvert has early signs of Dementia and does not have his medication with him. He is described as a white male, 5′, 8″ tall, and weighing 175 pounds. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance. Mr. Calvert was driving a red, 2010 Honda CRV with Maryland tags, 50619MO. A Silver Alert has been issued regarding his disappearance.

Mignon Boyd, age 16, of the 2000 block of Marlow Farm Terrace in Silver Spring, was last seen at Paint Branch High School (14121 Old Columbia Pike in Burtonsville) on April 23 at approximately 7:00 am. Mignon is described as an African American female, approximately 5’7’’ tall, and weighing 150 pounds. She has brown eyes and long, black hair with burgundy highlights worn in thick individual braids. She has pierced ears and wears an earring on her upper right ear. Mignon frequently uses the bus for transportation and is known to visit stores in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road (Target, Chipotle, etc.) and stores in the White Oak Shopping Center.

Police and family are concerned for Mignon’s welfare because she has not contacted family.

Michael Porter Denker, age 66, of the 12300 block of Stoney Creek Road in Rockville was last seen this morning at 4:30 am.

Denker is described as a white male with greying brown hair, brown eyes, eyeglasses, and a short grey beard. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He is believed to be wearing a dark green fleece zip-up jacket, unknown color t-shirt, and green chino pants. Mr. Denker was last seen driving his white 2008 Toyota 4 Runner with Maryland tag 27179M4. The vehicle has a Hopkins and Porter Construction sign on it’s side.

Tonya Simms is 53 years old and is described as an African-American woman who stands approximately 5′ 4″ tall. She weighs between 100 and 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray fitted cap, a black and white scarf, a brown coat with a fur collar, a multi-colored sweater, and a blue button-down shirt.

Police Search for Missing 16-Year-old Girl from Takoma Park

Detectives from the Takoma Park Police Department are investigating the disappearance of a missing Takoma Park juvenile.

Morgan Bell, 16, was last seen on February 22, 2013, in the 700 block of Hudson Avenue, Takoma Park, Maryland, at approximately 6:30 a.m. Bell is a black female, 5'5 tall and 110 lbs.

Anyone who has information about Morgan Bell's whereabouts is asked to contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #13008603.
