 Elk Run Vineyards, located in Frederick County, will participate at the farmers market on Saturday, July 31, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the corner of Route 28 and Monroe Street. Come out for fresh fruits and vegtables, baked goods, specialty meats and cheeses, fresh herbs and local wine.

 The 27th annual National Night Out, sponsored by National Association of Town Watch, is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 3. Rockville neighborhoods, businesses, civic groups and law enforcement agencies spend the evening pitching in to help the fight against crime and support anti-crime programs.
