A five day celebration starting Tuesday June 17 with Mommy & Me Extravaganza, live performances, a public cake cutting and a fireworks show. Check the website for a list of events.   
Enjoy FREE community events in your neighborhood. July 16, The Billy Finch Americana Stage show performs at Pump House Park. In case of inclement weather, call 240-314-8682 after
4 p.m. the day of the show. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, dinner, bug spray, etc. and enjoy the show.
Register For The Twilight Runfest

The Rockville Rotary Twilight Runfest is one of the most popular races of the summer in the national capital area. Join us on Saturday, July 21. The event consists of an 8K race (including a wheelchair division) and a 1K fun run, music, refreshments and a rockin' good evening.  

The Rockville Open Is This Friday

Golf ballJoin us for this year's Rockville Open on July 13th & 14th. This event will be flighted by handicap, with both gross and net winners receiving prizes. Anyone with a current USGA handicap is eligible to participate. The event will conclude Saturday with a cookout and awards ceremony.
Learn About The Science Behind The Lense

The Rockville Science Café will be held at Branded '72, 387 Gude Road on July 17 from 7-8 p.m. Cameras 101: The Science Behind the Lense. For more info contact Ruth Hanessian at 301-674-7884 or call the Rockville Science Center at 240-FUN-8111. 

Make a plan to stay fit and social this fall by joining one of Rockville's many different teams. The City offers youth soccer, football and cross-country and adult softball, basketball, volleyball and kickball. More than 300 youth members and 100 adult teams participate in a fall league.

The Main Street Farmers' Market is open Saturdays, May 5 through November 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You'll find it in the Main Street Pavilion at 301 Main Street, one block off of Kentlands Boulevard in the Kentlands. A variety of local artists and craftspeople with unique handcrafted items will join the farmers at this location each Saturday.
