Go For The Gold This Summer

Go for the Gold at the 2012 'Summer Olympics' Playground program. Reliable, energetic, caring and experienced staff will lead the weekly themed events at each of the 12 playground sites.
The Farmers Market is Fresh - Easy - Healthy

The City of Rockville accepts EBT cards at the Saturday Farmers Market and will match up to $10 of EBT benefits in $1 Market tokens. This is part of the Eat Fresh Maryland program to expand access to fresh fruits and vegetables at farmers markets.

RedGate golferJuly 13th and 14th, experience RedGate Golf Course like you haven't seen it in years! This event will be flighted by handicap, with both gross and net winners receiving prizes. Anyone with a current USGA handicap is eligible to participate. The event will conclude Saturday with a cookout and awards ceremony. Make sure to register early.
Join Peerless Rockville at the Red Brick Courthouse for an afternoon of fun during Montgomery County Heritage Day Saturday, June 23, noon-4 p.m. Admission is free. Explore the museum archives, collections and exhibits, and shop for discounted Rockville merchandise. Staff will give guided tours of the courthouse at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Enjoy FREE community events in your neighborhood during this series. Charmcity Skate Demo, the best of Baltimore will show their flips, kicks and tricks Monday, June 25, 7-8 p.m. at the Sk8 Park, 355 Martin's Lane. In case of inclement weather, call 240-314-8682 after 4 p.m. the day of the show. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.

The Main Street Farmers' Market is open Saturdays, May 5 through November 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You'll find it in the Main Street Pavilion at 301 Main Street, one block off of Kentlands Boulevard in the Kentlands. A variety of local artists and craftspeople with unique handcrafted items will join the farmers at this location each Saturday.
