Kick-off Bike Month With A Ride On May 5

Bike ridersCelebrate National Bike Month with the Rockville Bicycle Advisory Committee and your City councilmembers! This will be a casual, family-friendly community ride. The ride starts at City Hall, 111 Maryland Avenue at 10 a.m.; the route is on paved, shared-use paths, along the Carl Henn Memorial Trail. Rain at the start cancels the ride.

Take a look at all of the great classes and programs offered so that you don't miss out. Registration for residents begins Thursday, May 17; registration for nonresidents begins Thursday, May 24.

The public comment period for the Fiscal Year 2013 Budget will remain open through Thursday, May 17. The City of Rockville invites residents to comment on the budget. A worksession and public hearing are scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, May 7, at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave.
